Liverpool Lime Station

Our sister company Ultra Developments were employed by Buckingham group, to remove dismantle the Virgin First Class Lounge on the platform at Lime Street Station.

Ultra completed these works in half the time that we were allocated by the main contractor. Our works included air condition de-gas, isolation of electrics and plumbing, alarm and CCTV. The removal of all soft fixtures and fittings, roof panels, steel cladding from the face, all glazing and automatic doors. Our final task was to remove the steel structure, section by section, until all that was left was the central steel sections where the air conditioning was housed on the top. Before we could remove this section we employed our crane company who we partner with for all of our lifting needs. When are lift plan was approved our team worked through one Saturday night to remove the air conditioning units from the roof to allow us to finish the removal of the steel frame. When this was complete, the site was cleared and handed back to our client, several weeks early.
